Introducing Mr. Gohan

After months of contemplation, I've finally decided to start a food blog and introduce myself to the rest of the world.... Hello world! Let me first start off with the reasoning of why I've decided on the name Mr. Gohan. I decided on this name because in Japanese, the word "gohan" means rice. Since the last time I looked in the mirror I looked like a Japanese/American male and since I REALLY LOVE rice, I've decided on the name Mr. Gohan. In fact, I think I am only one of two people who eat rice with spaghetti. The other person being my brother. Another interesting fact about starting a food blog is that I am one the most picky eaters you'll ever meet (a habit I've learned from my sister). But I do enjoy eating good. So here I am.

I think you are the best Mr. Gohan. I am glad I am officially the first blogger comment on your site. Keep up the good work Gohan-san! Kimiko's Daddy.

keep up the good work mr. gohan! i love food as well, and would love nothing more than seeing well taken pictures of delicious food along with genuine comments. one advice though. although it's obvious food has consumed you, you shouldn't consume too much food!

Thank you Mr. Gohan for your recommendations regarding Sparks and Babbo in New York. Both excellent restaurants but I found Babbo's to be a bit disappointing. Our reservations were for 10:30 pm and due to the late hour I think the over-cooked sauces had resulted in some very salty and spicy dishes. My advice... for steaks anytime but for anything requiring sauces make your reservations for an early dinner.
On a more positive note, next time in New York try Lalo's for desert, Clinton Street Baking Company for Blueberry pancakes and Marigold's for the best cupcakes in town.
